Made In His Image and Likeness

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." 27 So God created man in his own image,
I have read this passage hundreds of times...in my attempt to get through the Bible...I always manage to read, at least, Genesis! Genesis is actually one of my favorite books of the Bible. TONS of lessons there! And, as always happens, the more I read it the more I see there.


Do you realize how HUGE "God created man in his own image" (in His likeness) is?!!! It is truly HUGE! We have no clue the power we have because of that likeness! That's why he warns us so many times about the power of our words... our words have the same creative power in them that God's words do... He spoke the world into existence and we speak things into existence every day without even thinking about it.

Proverbs 18:21 
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.
Unfortunately, we speak death into our lives every day...

"I can't afford this or that." 
"The pollen KILLS me every year!"
"I can't do it!"
and, and, and... the list goes on and on...

It is a rule... like gravity... you don't even have to believe in gravity for it to work... the same goes for the words we speak...but we usually actually believe what we say!

IMPORTANT!  IMPORTANT!!!  ONLY SAY WHAT YOU WANT OUT LOUD .... not the way it seems...but what you want! 

YOU GET WHAT YOU SAY!  WATCH!

But, that isn’t even where I was going with this today. Today I wanted to share the following YouTube (now that I know how to embed them!) It is about one idiot savant’s incredible abilities.

As you watch it, think about the potential of the human and the human mind. This story is almost unbelievable, but I think it shows just the tip of the iceberg of human potential … and it's another example of that “God likeness”.



Life Lesson:
- Again... ONLY SAY WHAT YOU WANT OUT LOUD .... not the way it seems...but what you want! YOU GET WHAT YOU SAY!

- There is absolutely NO REASON to be insecure!  Or to think that anything is impossible for you... not with the Most High God living in you!

Ten Commandments
